Unexpected bonus on Beach to Mountains Experience

A very early start, on Saturday 26 September, saw a group of eager photographers gather at Point Cartwright for what turned out to be an extraordinary sunrise. Kate Mullins and her dad Graham attended and Kate has very kindly offered the use of one of her images here.
The dust, that has blown in from the West during the previous week, provided a surreal effect which resulted in some very different photographs, many of which were taken well after sunrise.
