Whenever you need to change a lens on your digital SLR, be very mindful of the conditions. Don't change lenses on a beach or in windy, dusty conditions. Walk to your car, or go indoors to minimise the possibility of dust entry to your camera.
Keep the camera body facing down during the entire lens changing process to avoid dust falling onto your camera's sensor.
