Michael Snedic and Mark Rayner's "Trekabout Photography Workshops" have just returned from a fantastic week in Lamington National Park. Based at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, Michael and Mark provided tuition on many photgraphic techniques and genres in what can only be described as perfect conditions. With cloudless days and crisp nights, the mountains were stunning.
From the first get together on Sunday evening set to a perfect backdrop of sunset over the mountains, to a final "bird in flight" session, the Trekabout students were put to work to improve and enhance their photographic skills and talents.
The skill levels were quite varied but all participants were able to produce vibrant, well composed images of subjects ranging from the spectacular Elabana Falls to the equally spectacular but somewhat smaller Regent Bowerbird.
