I realise that, in a previous TREKeZine entry, I mentioned the benefits of watching out for camera firmware updates.

Well it seems that since then many camera manufacturers have been very busy upgrading there systems so I though a timely reminder would be prudent.

Recently firmware updates have been released for:

Nikon D700, D3, D3s, D3x

Olympus EP-1

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 500D

Pentax K7

Whilst some firmware upgrades sort out minor issues, others can offer significant improvements to your camera's operation.
