Trekabout Photography Workshops cover all costs/fees incurred in the running of their workshops. These include National Parks Service permits and fees, room hire for digital/computer sessions, entry fees to wildlife centre, wildlife handling fees, accomodation, ground transport during the workshop and any other costs (excluding airfares, alcohol and items of a personal nature except where stated otherwise) directly associated with running the workshop.
Trekabout Photography Workshops may, at their discretion, alter the stated workshop itinerary due to weather, safety concerns or other extenuating circumstances.
To secure your booking, the deposit payment is required in full within 5 working days of the time of booking. Full payment is required 30 days prior to the workshop unless otherwise stated.
Except where otherwise stated, if a cancellation is made within 15 days of the workshop the full workshop fee shall be retained. For cancellations between 16 and 60 days of the workshop 50% of the cost of the workshop will be refunded. Workshops cancelled prior to 60 days will see a return of the workshop fee less the original deposit.
Travel Insurance is recommended. Trekabout Photography Workshops reserves the right to cancel any workshop with inadequate enrolment 15 days before the date of workshop. In the event that a workshop has to be cancelled due to inadequate enrolment, all fees are refunded in full or full credit given towards an alternative workshop (customer's choice).
Notice will be provided when the minimum number of participants is reached and the workshop is a definite. It is recommended that airfares or other travel arrangements necessary to attend the workshop are not booked prior to receiving workshop confirmation.
Covid-19 Refund Circumstances
In the event that a workshop is postponed due to covid-19 restrictions, all deposits will be rolled over to the new date. If that date is unsuitable a full refund will be provided.
Covid-19 Vaccination Policy
In accordance with Trekabout Photography Workshop's duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards, we are adopting this policy to safeguard the health of our customers and suppliers, and the community at large from infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, that may be reduced by vaccinations.
All customers, employees and visitors are required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 by 1st Feb 2022 unless a reasonable alternative is otherwise approved by any relevant authority, or Trekabout Photography Workshops. Where a person is not in compliance with this policy, the person will not be granted entry to the premises, event, or service. In such circumstances the company’s refund and/or credit policy may apply.
Credit Card Payments
Credit cards payments are conducted via Paypal. Paypal charge transaction fees which are covered by a 2.9% surcharge. Payments made via direct bank transfer do not attract any surcharges.
Trekabout Photography Workshops reserves the right to take photographic records of any of its workshops and may use any such records for promotional purposes.
If, due to unforseen circumstances, a workshop has to be cancelled, 100% of the workshop cost will be refunded or credit given towards another workshop.
Trekabout Photography Workshops are fully covered by public liability insurance.
